Winter Wonderland!

I didn't forget...I realize last week has come and gone, with no Product of the Week! We were traveling with our family on a much needed vacation. There are certain things that I "know" in life, and where I have admiration and respect for this particular lifestyle...I am NOT a mountain girl. My family and I had a beautiful time in the snow- and we hope to make it an annual tradition. However the good Lord knew what he was doing when he landed me here in my beautiful hometown of Charleston...BEACH included! See you at the next post! XO, Leslie

Unbelievable!

I work in the field of beauty and fashion, and feel like most times I am living in the land of luxury with high end desingers. Now don't get me wrong, this is not a bad thing-however, it is so refreshing when I see a pretty quality piece at an even prettier price. I was surfing the Target web site the other day, and saw that they do in fact sell everything...including a WEDDING line! You can buy everything from dresses, to shoes...veils to headpieces! Really great quality at an amazing price, and with designers like Isaac Mazrahi-you get the best of both worlds!

Product of the Week!

Whahoo! With the weather reaching the low 80's here in my beautiful hometown of Charleston, SC- I am itching to get my hands on spring make up. While some of my favorite lines have new products creeping in, I came to a total deadstop while in the aisle at Ulta the other day! I LOVE this new Burt's Bees Lip Gloss (zesty red being my fav)...it looks hot on and smells absolutely yummy! I am a big fan of their lip products anyway, but this puts the whole line on a new level-who knew Burt's Bees could be sexy? Get them while you can, my friends up north say they have been sold out from Target to Wal-Greens...be nice and pick up one for you and one for a friend (just get the same color so you won't be tempted to keep it!) Ciao!

Product of the Week!

I am always looking for amazing products that multi-task, especially in the winter time. Dry skin, chapped lips, and STATIC-ahh! I need a one stop shop to fix it all. I have used this product for years, from healing a tattoo, to grooming thick eye brows- but everytime the weather takes a turn below 50 degrees, I am reminded of how much I love Aquaphor by Eucerin. I use it on my cuticles, lips, in my hair to tame unruly static, and even on the blisters I got from my new jogging shoes. You can find it almost anywhere...grocery stores, drug stores. This product is not only super but has a super price point. I bought 1 for me, my kit, my daughter's diaper bag, and my son's pre-school bag...we are armed and ready for the winter season (even if it only last for 2 weeks here in Charleston SC)...bring on the cold!
