Product of the Week!

Simple, yet stunning! This Bobbi Brown product is a sure fire way to get your glow on! Perfect for the cheeks and lips, this rouge pot leaves a sheer stain like finish. Much easier than biting your lip and pinching your cheeks to get that flushed look...this huge container allows you to use you fingers-NO BRUSHES REQUIRED! My favorite...Chocolate Cherry! YUMMY!

Product of the Week!

The Holidays are a time for giving, and I can't think of any better gift to give any of the ladies on my list! This goodie from Tarte Cosmetics has it ALL...you get the best of both worlds from Fashion Week...one look pulled from the New York shows and one from the Paris shows. You can't go wrong with any of the color options and just when you think it can't get any better, you see they also put 2 fabulous brushes in the compact. My only complaint is that this is part of a limited edition, so you better grab what you can when you can!

Product of the Week!

Along with the Holidays, comes a time of being rushed from one party to another to another and then another. This "product of the week" is my secret weapon and I have one stashed in at least 3 different places! While I have tested many other similar products, this one actually works. Other wannabe wands tend to dry out and have chubbier ends, making corrections less than perfect. Revlon's Make Up Eraser Pen, stays moist and with it's finer tip allows for the perfect touch up- all day...all night. So, here's to hangin' with the holiday madness, may my make up last longer than I do!! Cheers!

Product of the Week!

If you are a girlie who doesn't feel completely dressed without her signature scent, then you have to check out this fragrance! It's sexy, classy, and down right YUMMY. I love the new JUICY perfume. I spend so much time grazing the counters at department stores and often feel that with the hundreds of fragrances out there...there are few that make the grade. Picking a perfume is a very personal choice, but after just one spray of this product-I kept sniffing my own arm all day (and so did my husband-wink wink). Hey Santa...this is definetly on my Holiday Wish List!

Product of the Week!

I love trying new things, but I also turn into a creature of habit when I find something that just works! This Trish McEvoy color Iced Mocha is a cult favorite for good reason. This trio is super pretty...the color hits the nail on the head for the perfect fall/winter shade. Not too much, but just enough. Notice that this one is the Sheer version, they do make a deeper tube for those us us that like a bit more"ummph". The glosses are both goreous on top of the lipstick or used alone. I find these work on all skin tones, making it close to fool proof. Go ahead, hang the mistletoe and PUCKER UP. Have a wonderful Holiday next week, ciao bellas!

Product of the Week!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this product! With a colder, drier season quickly approaching-this product is a winter must have! This eye cream is ideal alone or under make up because it hydrates without migrating into your eye and it doesn't break down your concealer. At times even once I am finished with someone's make up- I will tap just a tiny bit in the lower outer corner (above the cheek bone)...the added hydration is radiant-creating a more youthful appearance-who doesn't want that? Oh...FYI, guys dig this cream as well (hey, they get crow's feet too right?) Can we say Stockin' Stuffer?

Product of the Week!

I LOVE these! I have them in my kit, my car, my gym bag-I have them stashed everywhere. These are perfect Q-tips with remover built right in, so you can touch up on the go. I especially love them to touch up a late night smokey eye. Check out their site www.swabplus.com for additional products like fingernail polish remover, cuticle oil,etc.. I sure wish I had thought of them!

Happy Halloween!

It should be a rule of that everyone must attend at least 1 Costume Party in their life time! After a crazy day of 3 weddings (this past Saturday)...I was able to kick back, have a few, and not take life so seriously. As I looked around and saw 50 or so different "get ups"-I thought to myself, see how much fun it can be when you can slip into becoming someone else, even if it is for only a night! With 2 kids, 2 dogs, a husband, and a crazy busy business-I felt that Wonder Woman was fitting this year (plus I have always had a girl crush on Linda Carter). Have a safe Halloween everyone!

Product of the Week!

I love a good and effective cleanser. Everybody has their own personal taste in what they prefer, but in the end-they want something that will take their make up off without tearing up their skin! My choice is Dove Pro Age cleanser! It is creamy but still lathers, takes all of my make up off (without taking my skin with it!), and at around $4.34-you cannot beat the price. It reminds me of a few higher end cleansers that you would find at the department stores (which I can't name), that have been staples in my bathroom for many years. I loved this product so much, I felt the need to try the entire ProAge line and was pleasantly suprised with how much I liked the whole kit and kaboodle!! See for yourself, but please leave one for me!!

Product of the Week!

As a self proclaimed mascara addict, I have tried every mascara I can get my hands on! I am obsessed with lush lashes and clients who know me well, know they don't have to beg me for dramatic lash, my wand comes out faster than Jesse James on quick draw! Of course, I have my standard favorites from Dior Show to Chanel's Inimitable, to Clinique's High Impact...and frankly any Lancome mascara will do! However, mascara is one product I feel you don't need to spend a small fortune on, you can get a great one for under $10! In my kit you can find, Loreal's Voluminous, Cover Girl's Lash Exact and Volume Exact, and my favorite for the smallest lashes-Maybeline's Lash Discovery! My new fav caught me by surprise...I was skeptical while opening the package...small product, smaller brush (I was used to brush at least 3 times the size)...and I think I even turned up my nose. Already mentally giving it to someone else, I reluctantly tried it and was blown away...(drum roll.........) Revlon 3D Extreme Mascara!! I LOVE this product and it also comes in waterproof! Check it out and see why it made Product of the Week!!

Yeah, we have finally slowed down enough to create our BLOG! Within the next week, we hope to have what will be the start of something cool and fun. From the sassiest to the sophisticated, we hear you and want to help! Every day we get countless emails and calls with questions about make up products, tips & secrets, and the inside scoop on just about everything one needs to know about looking good and feeling great! This will be your new "Go To"and "How To" from video demonstrations...to the latest & greatest products! From the aisles of Target, Wal-Mart, and CVS to Saks, Ulta, and the ever awaited Sephora...we gotcha covered!

On a personal note, this will finally be a chance to share some of the experiences and tell you about some of the people I have encountered over the years. Mostly good, some funny, a few tragic...but all meaningful, and they have gotten us this far!

I have to say, that I love my life...I am truly blessed. I love what I do, I have the best husband and children anyone could ever ask for, we have most of what we need and a little of what we want-I am not saying I have it all figured out, but I certainly am grateful for the life that was given to me!

Stick around and keep checking in, we want to be a highlight in your day- as you are in ours!

Love-
The Gang at Moore Make Up... where it's more than just make up.
